Joe Hallett
I was formerly a Professional Engineer in the Automotive & Military Vehicle Industry, with a keen interest in Muay Thai, Fitness and Self-Defence.
A change of career in 2008 led me to full-time Personal Training and Urban Krav Maga – the most complete combative system I’ve found for the reality of self-defence.
Since then I’ve trained the British Military & Law Enforcement, UK Government Representatives (House of Commons & House of Lords), as well as regular corporate & public classes.

Going on a decade ago I decided to focus my attention on self-defence. After beginning my training with Urban Krav Maga I found myself addicted to it and have never looked back.
Through Urban Krav Maga I was fortunate enough to meet Leo Negao (4 times Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion). I started BJJ/Grappling 6 years ago and also currently hold a purple belt in BJJ under Leo.
I have worked with British Law Enforcement, run self-defence seminars and corporate and public classes.
Both Ricky & Joe are Senior Urban Krav Maga Instructors training regularly with Urban Krav Maga Chief Instructors Stewart McGill & Leo Negao.
They regularly provide UKM Instructor Training and are members of the Instructor Examination Panel & Technical Committee and are registered and insured with the British Combat Association.
